  • Account information: email address and authentication data when you sign up using Google or LinkedIn
  • Resume content and job descriptions you upload
  • Payment information processed through Lemon Squeezy

  • Usage data and analytics through Google Analytics
  • Device information including browser type, IP address, and operating system

We use your information to:

  • Provide our resume customization services
  • Process payments
  • Improve our services
  • Communicate with you about your account

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Google (Gemini API) for resume processing and customization
  • Google and LinkedIn for authentication purposes
  • Lemon Squeezy for payment processing
  • Service providers who assist in our operations

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information indefinitely until you request deletion.

We retain the resumes and CVs you upload, including files submitted to our free tools without an account, for as long as we operate the service. We keep them so that you can return to a report you have already run and carry the same document into our resume builder without uploading it again, and we use them in aggregate to improve how our tools read resumes. We do not sell them and we do not share them with third parties except the service providers listed above who process data on our behalf.

You can ask us to delete an uploaded resume at any time. Reports produced by our free ATS resume checker and our job description keyword finder each carry a "delete my resume" control that removes the stored file and its extracted text immediately. For a cover letter, email us and we will remove the file and its text for you. What the report itself says remains: a score, a keyword list or a finished cover letter describes or is built from a document rather than containing one, and in the cover letter's case the page holding it is your only copy. You can also email us at contact.applymate@gmail.com and we will delete it for you.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of certain data collection

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
