Free Lever ATS Resume Checker
Score your resume against how Lever reads it — parsing, keywords, sections and formatting — in under 60 seconds. Free, no account.
Lever is a recruiting platform built around relationships rather than filtering. It merges applicants with a sourcing pipeline, so your resume often sits next to a profile a recruiter built about you separately.
Your resume has a solid foundation but is missing several key ATS optimizations. Better keyword alignment and measured results will meaningfully boost your score.
Missing quantified achievements: most bullets describe responsibilities, not results
Low keyword density for common industry terms in the target role
Clear chronological work history with start and end dates
The difference
What Lever does differently
Common in mid-size tech and services companies, frequently alongside active outbound sourcing.
How to tell it's Lever: The application address is jobs.lever.co followed by the company's name.
- Lever fills your profile from your resume and, where you provide it, your LinkedIn. A mismatch between the two is visible to the recruiter, so keep titles and dates consistent across both.
- If a recruiter sourced you before, your new application can attach to that existing record, older resume and all.
- Parsing is solid on standard layouts and, like every system, poor on tables and multi-column designs.
- Recruiters search and tag the pool heavily, so specific tool and skill names carry more weight than generic phrasing.
The honest version
No tool, including this one, can see inside Lever or predict a specific employer's configuration. What a checker can do, and what this one does, is read your resume the way any parser must and tell you what it could not extract. That is where nearly every avoidable rejection comes from.

What Lever says, in its own words
- Lever's parser reads Microsoft Word (including .docx), PDF, RTF, Corel WordPerfect, HTML, MS Office HTML and OpenOffice (ODF) files. [1]
- It cannot read image files such as JPG or PNG. Lever's own test: if you cannot highlight the text in your document with your cursor, it is likely not parseable. [1]
- Parsed details (name, organisation, contact details) are filled into the candidate profile automatically. [1]
- When a job board such as Indeed Apply asks for your current location, Lever uses that answer instead of the location in your resume. [1]
