Free ADP ATS Resume Checker
Score your resume against how ADP reads it — parsing, keywords, sections and formatting — in under 60 seconds. Free, no account.
ADP runs payroll for a huge number of US employers, and many of them hire through ADP's recruiting tools as well: the recruitment pages in ADP Workforce Now, and the larger ADP Recruiting Management. ADP says it parses resumes automatically and shows recruiters a side-by-side comparison of how relevant each applicant is.
Your resume has a solid foundation but is missing several key ATS optimizations. Better keyword alignment and measured results will meaningfully boost your score.
Missing quantified achievements: most bullets describe responsibilities, not results
Low keyword density for common industry terms in the target role
Clear chronological work history with start and end dates
The difference
What ADP does differently
Small, mid-size and large US employers that already pay their staff through ADP.
How to tell it's ADP: ADP Workforce Now jobs open on workforcenow.adp.com, with mascsr and recruitment in the address. ADP Recruiting Management uses recruiting.adp.com or myjobs.adp.com.
- Upload a text-based PDF or DOCX. A scan or a photo of a resume gives the parser nothing to read, and you end up typing your history by hand.
- Relevancy is judged against the position, so use the job's own terms for the skills and titles you really have.
- Many ADP career sites ask you to create a profile before you apply. Keep the login, because it is your way back to the application.
- Check the parsed fields before submitting. What ADP extracts is what the comparison works from.
The honest version
No tool, including this one, can see inside ADP's software or predict a specific employer's configuration. What a checker can do — and what this one does — is read your resume the way any parser must, and tell you what it could not extract. That is where nearly every avoidable rejection comes from.
