Free Jobvite ATS Resume Checker
Score your resume against how Jobvite reads it — parsing, keywords, sections and formatting — in under 60 seconds. Free, no account.
Jobvite is a recruiting platform used by mid-size employers, mostly in the US, and part of Employ, the group that also owns Lever and JazzHR. It parses your resume into a searchable record, and employers can switch on Talent Fit, an AI match that compares your resume with the job description.
Your resume has a solid foundation but is missing several key ATS optimizations. Better keyword alignment and measured results will meaningfully boost your score.
Missing quantified achievements: most bullets describe responsibilities, not results
Low keyword density for common industry terms in the target role
Clear chronological work history with start and end dates
The difference
What Jobvite does differently
Mid-size employers across many industries, mostly in the US.
How to tell it's Jobvite: The job address is jobs.jobvite.com followed by the company's name and the job.
- Talent Fit either labels you a match or leaves you unlabelled, with nothing in between. It reads skills, certifications, licences and experience from your resume, so list those explicitly, in the job description's terms.
- Talent Fit works only in English, so a resume in another language gets no match label even when you fit the job.
- Press Attach after uploading. The upload fills in the form, but the file only goes with your application once it is attached.
- Don't worry if the preview after uploading looks unformatted. That is the text Jobvite extracted for search; the recruiter still gets your original file.
The honest version
No tool, including this one, can see inside Employ Inc.'s software or predict a specific employer's configuration. What a checker can do — and what this one does — is read your resume the way any parser must, and tell you what it could not extract. That is where nearly every avoidable rejection comes from.

What Jobvite says, in its own words
- The DaXtra resume parser is built into Jobvite, so details from each applicant's resume are stored in the candidate record and searchable across the platform. [1]
- Scanned or locked PDFs cannot be added. Jobvite asks for a Word document or an unlocked PDF. [2]
- After uploading a resume to fill in the application, you may still need to press Attach to include it in your application. [2]
- The unformatted view after uploading is a text-only preview used for internal search. The recruiter receives your resume in its original format. [2]
- Jobvite's default statuses are New (received), In Process (being reviewed), Not Selected, Hired (a candidate has been selected) and Closed (the job is closed). Companies can use their own. Jobvite says its team does not alter or influence the status of an application. [2]
- With rare exceptions you cannot apply to the same job twice. To send an updated resume, reply to your confirmation email with the new file. [2]
- Talent Fit, an optional AI feature, compares the skills, certifications, licences and experience in your resume with the job description. It gives a match label or none, works only in English, reads text-based PDFs, recognises abbreviations in context (TA for Talent Acquisition), and re-runs when the resume or the job description changes. [3]
- Since 4 August 2026, Talent Fit is off by default on every new job, so employers have to switch it on job by job. [3]
