BambooHR does not publish how its applicant tracking screens applications. At the company sizes that use it, applications are typically read by a person; the screening questions on the form are the part most likely to be filtered on.

Less than at enterprise scale, but they still help: matching the posting's language makes a busy manager's read easier and keeps you findable in search.
